We had a 21 year old girl who was killed a couple of months ago while car surfing. She was in a T-top with the top open and she and her boyfriend were trying to trade places in the car. She was in the driver's seat and when she got up far enough, the wind caught her as she was very small stature and pulled her out of the car and slammed her on the road. They say she was killed instantly. I keep thinking about that scene in Smokey and the Bandit where Burt Reynolds and Sally Field changed places. I don't know what prompted them to try this but it was deadly for her. Her boyfriend wasn't hurt and managed to get the car stopped. I feel so sorry for the family and for him. I wonder if this was just young person foolishness at work and it turned deadly? Don't know but it's sad.

That is sad. Sometimes I wonder if I was as foolish in my younger years and just didn't suffer any consequences because I was lucky. I did some pretty stupid stuff to be candid. I'm sorry for the families loss though. How horrible to lose a child like this.

It is very sad. I also did stupid stuff when I was younger. Now I know it is better to be safe then sorry. Pulling over to trade places is always the better option even if you are running late.

That is a really sad story. I hate when TV shows have stunts like that. You just know someone somewhere is going to try it. I know its not the TV shows fault. My heart goes out to the girls family.
