You know what's really scary and frustrating? My 2001 Honda Accord had a recall on the airbags. I can't believe we've been driving it that long. Some people literally died when the airbag deployed. How did Honda not know for that long??

DaMan, the sad thing is that Honda probably did know before those cars even went off the assembly line. It happens way to often that it is cheaper and more cost affective to fix it only when necessary.

In some of those cases, it seems someone has to die before the car manufacturer admits that there is something wrong with their car. Do you remember that case of the Audi's suddenly speeding forward with the parking brake on. Some lady ran her did down in the garage, even though it was proved that she had her foot on the break and the parking brake on the whole time.

I was just wondering the same thing. Many recalls are not even advertise. I was wondering if my car had a recall problem with the ac as suggested by another forum member. Where would I find a list of recalls for my car a Chevy Malibu?
