It sounds a lot weird, but wasn't really. This poor guy was working on his car from underneath when it rolled off the jacks. Bad deal. I'm thankful I haven't had that happen. Whenever mine came off the jack, I wasn't under it.
It sounds to me like he wasn't taking the necessary safety precautions in the first place but he is all kinds of lucky that he was rescued and will probably recover.
