A GM recall, originally announced in December, now covers 26,751 Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs. GM said rear-axle cross pins, used to hold the axle in place weren't properly heat-treated and may not be durable. Might want to check this out.
It's amazing how many recalls there are these days, but I think it's a smart idea. In the end, it saves money and more importantly, it could save lives.
I wonder how this recall by GM will affect sales and the price of their stock ?? Toyota's recent problems didn't bode well for their 2010 sales at all.
