Honda has another acceleration claim bringing the total to 22. Apparently the vehicles begin to accelerate uncontrollably. This is not the first time we have heard this and I fear it will not be the last.

Sounds familiar. I knew that it couldn't be something isolated to Toyota - whatever technology they were using wasn't limited to just their company, it was only a matter of time for the issue to reveal itself elsewhere.

I am not aware of any American car companies with any models of cars having issues like this. In fact, other than Toyota and Honda, I don't think I've ever heard of this acceleration issue. Have you?

I have experienced it in my honda. Of course when it happened to me cruise control was on and would not turn off. I ended up being alright but it was quite scary.

Yeah, that is a horrible thing. Mayne people this happens to end up hurt or killed. You are lucky that you were able to get it under control. Considering the frequency of reports of this happening, have you thought of reporting it?

I would report it. There is probably some kind of class action law suit you could get in. I think these acceleration issues are a big deal. More and more of them are happening. It is time for the car manufactures to take responsibility and recall.
