I haven't heard about it either. I was hoping that the sales were higher with the hope that prices would go down faster. I am in desperate need of a new car, but I am really holding out until I can buy an electric car or at least a hybrid.
I'm guessing they aren't doing as well as they had hoped, and that is why we aren't hearing about it. Seems to me, if sales were up, the companies would be letting us know!
I'm hoping that no news is good news. We're only two months into the new year. Things could change. If the price of gas goes crazy, that will stimulate some sales I bet.
There are a lot of very exciting models going on sale this year. I cannot believe for a minute that these would not sell. I think we just aren't hearing.
