Autonation Inc. is reporting all kinds of drops for the third quarter, however, recover IS expected, even if it is slow. Honestly, who would have expected anything short of drops during the recession - the media needs to focus on the projected recovery more, I think.

Media is responsible for more problems than the problems themselves. I truely believe that they just love a catastrophe, and if there isn't one available, they will prolong or create one themselves. Sorry, just my opinion. I get a little heated about this subject!

No its alright, I think we are all bothered in some way by this sort of thing. Part of the recovery will be the perception of the people. The media is not helping things along by being so inconsistent.

I have to agree. One day we are coming out of the recession and they get our hopes up and the next day we are back in it and we crash back down. Some kind of constancy would be nice!

I don't trust any of the news media to be unbiased. They can slant the story any way they wish. I try to read several accounts of the same story from different sources to try to put together a reasonable picture of what the news item is about.
