There will be a hybrid version of the Buick LaCrosse coming out that is 25%-30% more fuel efficient than the current LaCross, with a 4-cyclinder engine and a lithium-ion battery. It'll be interesting to see how popular it turns out to be!
I don't know that it will be popular at all. The craze is on the electric car. The leaf and the volt are both front runners. Hybrids tend to cost just as much with fewer benefits than an electric car. What is the Buick LaCrosse's price tag?
It just might do OK with loyal Buick customers. Most of the folks I see on the road driving Buicks tend to be older established people who don't look like they are into any kind of craze.
