GM is going to be doing a recall on a good number of impalas. Looks like this one is due to some kind of a seat belt issue. The 2009 and 2010 impalas in the US will have to have the seat belt anchors replaced. If you have an Impala check this out.
Our local news was running the story this morning. I almost bought an Impala the last time but I choose differently instead. I wonder if there were any accident injuries because of this issue?
Usually something has to happen for them to notice the problem I think, Chandler. That's unfortunate - but a seat belt anchor should be an easy fix. Just bring it in to the dealer and they should be able to swap it out pretty quickly.
