Found this news today on MSN with the exact title if you want to read more about it. Anyway, in brief, it's dubbed as such because it operates on an electric motor for the first 22 km and then the diesel cuts in onwards. Unfortunately, it didn't specify how much litre of gasoline it consumes per kilometer. But considering it runs on electric for the first several miles it's good enough. We just have to wait till they build more charging stations. How much? I haven't got a clue. It's just a concept rather than a production model.
