I just ran across a article that says Ford intends to be the leading company that uses Wifi on board. Of course, it has corresponding security features. But what I like about their statement is that this feature would give people a seamless connection with the outside world. You can continue talking hands free to friends, check your twitter, etc.

When I read the article I realized that, indeed, once you sit on the driver's seat your connection with the world gets cut off.

Other car manufacturers, I'm sure, would join the bandwagon soon. Gosh, this world is really changing very very fast.
