That was a really awful situation. When I read about it and saw it on the news I was shocked-I don't see why anyone would do anything that cruel.

I suspect a 'snap' of road rage was behind this incident, and sheesh, what a way to get your name in the news (jerk).

Mind you, there was a 'test' of sorts done down FLA way, a few years ago, involving "turtles" just inside a driving lane, and then kept track of what happened next....

Most folks evaded the "turtle", and made effort to go around.... but a scant few targeted the "turtle", and flattened the S.O.B.: Death Race 2000 comes to mind.

"Brazilian prosecutors are requesting imprisonment"...? Did this happen in Brazil? (sorry, I did hear about it but didn't read any articles so not completely sure what or where it happened). I just find that odd that imprisonment would be requested, so does that mean he wasn't arrested? Obviously, if he injured 40 people, his intent was to possibly kill someone. That just seems ridiculous to me.

I absolutely can see the need for seeking imprisonment. This guy deliberately hit a large number of people with a fast moving car. He wanted to hurt them, and snap rage or not, he needs to be locked away.
