Default All-season tires

Should I have gone with real snow tires instead of my All-Seasons? My car is front wheel drive, and I'm having trouble on snowy roads, even on a slight incline. Down hill isn't a problem, but going uphill I tend to slip.

I too live in a hilly and snowy region. I had a 4WD with all-season tires for a couple winters, then invested in snow tires. It was like night and day!

If you need to get up hills, snow tires are what you need. They're designed to work on snowy roads whereas all season tires aren't. I wouldn't be without them in the winter in my area.
