Default Four Prong Spark Plugs

I'm not sure what they're called, but they have four prongs or tips, instead of the usual 1. Does anyone use these? The 98 Toyota Sienna my wife drove called for them as required equipment, but I'm wondering if other cars could benefit from them.

I looked them up, and they're called yttrium-enhanced ground electrodes. It says they are supposed to last longer, and you don't have to gap them.

Did your wife have any trouble with them? Did she notice any difference in performance?

No, because they were the spark plugs that were called for in the owner's manual (they were in the car from the factory, in other words).
