Do you prefer your car running fast or fuel efficient? I am not a fast driver myself (though I always dream of driving Bugatti Veyron), so I would go for a fuel efficient car.
Seeing as how I drive a truck and use it for work efficiency is about out the window (although I average 14mpg so I guess it's not too bad for a V8). I would opt for performance for myself.
I have gone from performance to efficiency over the years. I'd rather be about performance, but it's more realistic to focus on efficiency with my budget.
