Racing Slicks
I have a friend who uses a car that he races on occasion as a street car as well. He keep racing slicks (tires) in his trunk for his back wheels when he needs them. He doesn't have a spare, and I wonder sometimes if he ever got a flat and had to use one of the slicks as a spare, whether it would destroy the tire and make it unusable for racing. Anybody know?
