Default 2005 Town and Country Running Hot

We have a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van which is having problems running hot when it's sitting and the air conditioner is running. It has just started to do this and we've had it ever since it was new. Could the thermostat be sticking intermittently? It's never done this before even in extremely hot weather.

It could have an issue. Does it run normal when the air conditioner is not on? Are there any strange sounds or lights on the dash on. Do you smell anything strange when it is running hot?
