How about this one? The wheelchair van I replaced was a 3500 frame 1994 extended dogde ram. It was used as s church bus, hightop.

The blasted thing runs and then out of nowhere quits. Its not regular enough to be a failing fuel pump, but its regular enough to make it unsafe to drive (being stranded by the side of the road in a wheelchair with kids is not my idea of fun.)

I keep being told its got many many new parts on it. People are stumped. Any idea what it could be? I'm thinking ECU but I don't want to pay again to have yet another thing checked out to have it be for nothing.

I'm not totally up to speed on ECUs, are there any lights that come up on the dash just before the engine cuts out? Better to get the ECU checked out and knowing for sure.

The oil pressure collapses. That's why I thought it was the oil pump at first. But then at a certain break down I realized that the gas and other indicators were falling to zero. That's what made me think ECU...especially since it has a lift in it.
