Axel Locking?
Okay, so I own a 85 toyota turcel, the first problem that I thought was happening was that it felt like the breaks were locking up... it would prevent the car from moving at all.
I put her up on jack stands, took both front brakes off and ran the car in the air on jacks, and once put into gear the axel would spin the wheels for about 3 inches and lock up, I'm totally stoopid because there arent even any brakes on the car. So is there something in the transmission? (tranny fluid looks OK) or something in the drive train? anyone have an idea here?
