Default Burning Too Much Gas

My automatic Chevy Cavalier burns WAY more gas than the manual Toyota Celica I used to drive. I'm spending over $100 a month on gas and it's getting ridiculous - is there anything I can do to improve the car's efficiency?

If you are trying to match the milage you got with your Celica, I don't think that's really possible. There's lots of little things you can do to improve your mileage, though.

What kind of little things? Is the Cavalier just known for burning more gas than the Celica? I guess this is why I've always preferred Toyota over Chevy!

Well, you can do all the regular things, oil changes with the best oil, check your spark plugs, keep the air pressure right in your tires. But that too is going to cost you money.

Yeah out side of the upkeep there is not a lot you can do about a car that natural burns that much gas accept for car pooling so you can save a little gas and money.
