Default Cold air under steering wheel

I noticed the last 2 days (sub zero degree weather) that I have cold air coming into my car from under the steering wheel? I don't think this is normal? I have the wheel tilted but still I'm sure you are not supposed to have cold air coming in from the outside?

Maybe you should check the fans in front and see if one of them has been positioned to aim directly under your steering wheel. I can't imagine any reason for air to be coming out from under your steering wheel otherwise.

There could be some kind of hole or opening to the outside where your engine is. Is the car a newer car in good condition? Or like Alexus said, it could be a vent. You sure you don't have the vent for the floor blowing out air?

That is odd! I recommend checking out the things Alexus and Lamboguy mentioned first, and if that isn't the case, you might ask a good mechanic.

If the floor vent was on it would be warm. I can feel the heat from the vents but cold air from under the steering wheel. I have to take it to get inspected today, I will ask there.

Does the cold air blow very hard? Or do you just feel a cold breeze? It may just be cold air coming in from outside.
