Default Fogged Headlight

I have recently noticed some fogging in my passenger side headlight. I know they sell kits to clear a foggy light. What I have appears to be on the inside of the lens. Is there anything I can do to try to cure this, or should I look into getting a new light?

I would try the "foggy light" kit first, as it's almost impossible for anything (except maybe a little condensation after a heavy rain) to be on the inside of your headlight. If the kit doesn't work (and please, don't buy anything that has to do with sanding or drills unless you want to permanantly mess up your headlight), you may have to buy another headlight assembly. Check the salvage yards.

Default Kit -vs- Light

Well, let's examine your options. The restoration kit can be purchased for $15-25 or even more. To use these kits you need a dremel or something similar, they say you can do it by hand and you can, but when I did it I thought my fingers were going to fall off. Plus when you do it by hand it doesn't turn out near as good.
OR
Depending on the type of car you have, you can just get new headlamp housings frm ebay. My wife has an '06 pt and I got her a new after market set for $80.

I agree with Chevy. The restoration kit works, but it can be a hassle. Not to mention one can react to the treatment better and come out newer looking.
