Starting yesterday my Blazer started making a funny howling wind type noise when I make a tight turn. I am thinking it is a wheel bearing but would like any suggestions so I can check them out before taking it to the shop. I can't fix anything like that myself but I can check it.
Could it be in the power steering? I know sometimes it acts different when you make sharp turns (or at least mine does). Other than that, I'm not sure.
It might be but it has never made a noise like that before. My dad suggested CV joints. I am going to go out and give the axle a once over in a little while here and see if I can find the culprit. I am hoping for an inexpensive fix.
Could be the air conditioning system trying to lock up too. Are you having any trouble keeping the car cool or is the temperature gauge starting to creep up if you sit and idle?
That's just strange. Maybe it was an animal that got caught. If you smell something rancid, you know what's happened. Just hope it wasn't a larger animal like a dog or a cat!
