Default I Need Windshield Wipers That Work

I am getting so frustrated. I've bought new wipers every year and in no time, they stop working properly. They either streak or miss spots. I can't tell you the exact brand but I know I'm not buying the cheapest ones available. One set I even bought at an auto supply shop thinking I'd get good ones there, but there was no difference. Does anyone have a recommendation for me? I drive a Chrysler product.

I wonder if there's a mechanical or environmental factor that is making them mess up? Like, do you park under a tree? Pollen or birds or whatever might affect them. Or if the thingies that swish back and forth are not adjusted right, could that mess up the blades?

I used to have a lot of trouble with my windshield wipers, too. I still don't know why, but I've found that when I use Rainx, I have better results.

I would recommend checking your adjustments because I know when mine were off my wipers would get old fast. They may be too tight or too loose.

We have a garage and when I'm out I try to avoid parking under trees. But I'll have to check into that adjustment thing. I hope it's something simple to adjust, especially with ice and snow on the way.

I think it is the wipers and not the car. I have the same problem! Wipers are just not made to last anymore. I buy them yearly and change them yearly too. I usually change them right before winter.
