Default Last time you checked your spare?

When's the last time you checked your spare tire? I had my SUV in for an oil change, and while it was being worked on, the tech noticed my spare was flat!

I'm very bad about checking my spare tire. I can't remember the last time I checked it. I'd hate to have a flat and find out that the spare's flat, too. I'm going to check it right now.

I check my spare regularly. It only took one time for me to learn my lesson. I had a flat in rainy weather and my spare was flat. I don't want that to happen again.

About twice a year. After I had a flat and used the spare which got me about a mile down the road before going flat, I learned to keep an eye on it.

I always do a once-around inspection of my Honda every month. I check for working head and tail lights, marker lights, brake lights, license plate lights, any new scuffs or scratches and the spare. I'd rather find out the spare was flat in my driveway than when I need it on the road.

I could not tell you when that was. No, wait, yes, I can, but I didn't check it. About a year ago, I had my car in for a thorough check up, and they checked it then. It was fine.

I haven't checked mine since I bought my vehicle 5 years ago! (Sounds to me like it's about due now.) I'll be surprised if it's NOT flat.....
