Default LPG-fueled Cars

LPG-fueled cars are now everywhere. For as long as the terrain is flat, oftentimes I don't know the difference. But for a few, the smell of LPG gets into the car. I don't understand how that happens. Leaking joints? Punctured tubes? A hole in the car's body? If so, come on, don't these installers check everything?

I wouldn't want to drive a car using LPG as fuel. I don't know why I'm scared of it when in fact they are all combustible--petrol, diesel, biofuel, whatever.
