How would one go about getting that annoying maintenance required light turned off? I've had my car serviced and they ran the engine check but the light is still on. I think they forgot to reset it when they did service on it. Is there any way I can turn it off?
Usually is is a combo of things. Turning the key to a certain position and holding down the trip reset for so long. If you post the year, make and model I can look it up for you.
I think you need to go back and have them reset it. I know I had to have them reset mine a couple of times before. One time it was my gas cap that was making the light come on!
