When gas prices were REALLY high two or three years ago I was hearing about people who would "chip" their cars and put in some kind of micro chip for better mileage. Do you know anything about this? How hard is it to do yourself?
I never heard about this micro chip. I remember the gas nightmare back then. I was driving a lease Pathfinder, so I dreaded going to the gas station. I would like to hear more about this device. I am always willing to try new things if they save me money.
What would a micro chip do? I can't even imagine how anything like that would help with gas mileage.... If there were such a thing, I would imagine that most people would have them...
Performance chips actually can improve the performance of your car. They monitor and control the output of nearly everything, this saves you on gas mileage. The best company to buy them from is Edge Products.
When I first heard about them it was for diesel trucks. I had one put into my F-250 a couple years ago and it really made a difference. From what I understand, there's all kinds now for all kinds of vehicles.
What is the cost for having something like this installed? It seems like it would be something worth paying for, and would actually pay for itself in no time!
