I seldom drive my car like a bat out of hell but it seems that I need new tires. The last winter was so-so and its not like I was running about doing burnouts when I commute back/forth to work but it seems like either I got a really cruddy set of tires last time or tire thieves have came and swapped out the good ones I thought I had for these ones. Anyone else having this issue that tires are just not lasting as long anymore?

I have bought inexpensive tires on occasion, and they never work out. When it comes to tires, I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

After the last set we went through I am really starting to think they are a trust waste of time and money. I am almost positive that my kids bike tires were put together a little better than these were.

I agree with Guy. When you buy cheap tires, you get cheap results. Also...burnouts, doughnuts, jackrabbits starts and braking so hard that it causes the tires to squeal, all contribute to a tires early demise. Have you checked the alignment of the front end and made sure all the wheels were in balance?

I think I am slowly learning it from the replies I have gotten here along with some talk by co-workers. I am just amazed that they allow tires like this on the road to start with, wouldn't it be dangerous to allow such a thing?
