The paint on the roof of my car is sort of disappearing. I don't know why, but it keeps looking worse and worse. Is there anything short of getting the whole thing repainted that I can do to fix it?
Is it possibly because the roof is exposed to direct sunlight too much? What car do you have anyway? As MT said, it would be great if you could post a picture of the roof.
On most cars, the paint on the roof and the hood are usually the first to go. These are the areas that are exposed to the most heat and sunlight. Short of a complete paint job, you could just have the roof painted.
It's a GMC Safari. I don't have a way to post a picture right now, but I've seen it happen on Dodge Ram minivans, too. I guess I'll have to see about getting it painted.
