Each month I donate a couple hundred dollars to either charity or my church. However, one of my neighbors is a single mom (her husband left her for an 18 year old) she has three kids and works hard. I have noticed sounds coming from her car indicating her breaks are going bad. I asked her about it and she said she doesn't have the money to fix it. I think I could fix it and have no problem taking my charity money to use for parts to fix her car. Do you think I should do it? How could I get her to let me do it? She is very proud.

I say do it man. Just explain to her you are willing to do it free and cover costs no questions asked. If she says no she says no. I think it would be a really nice thing to do for someone in a bad situation.
