I tried to move a car tonight that hasn't been driven in three weeks. The brake is seized completely.
The car is going to the scrap yard so it got driven 50 yards with the brake on, leaving a trail of rubber. But for the future, is there anything I could have done to free it?
The only time I have experienced a seized parking brake is when it was super cold and it froze in the braked position. The only thing I could do is let it thaw.
