Now my steering wheel has started shaking when I'm driving down the highway. I've got to take the car in for servicing next week. How much is this going to cost me? It's always one more thing going wrong with the car.
It's hard to say how much it'll cost to repair it until you know what's causing the problem. It could be a tie rod end, or another repair to the front end, or even an alignment problem. Hope it's not too major.
I had the same problem awhile back, but I took care of it quickly and was happy with my repair bill. It turned out to be something fairly simple to fix and didn't break the bank. Had I waited much longer, I would have worried for nothing.
It could just be the car is out of alignment. I know that my steering wheel shook in my old car and the car just needed to be aligned. It was less then $100.
