Default Snow Or Rain

Someone told me once that she'd rather drive in snow than rain. I hadn't driven in snow much at that time, but I now agree with her. I think people are more careful in snow and visibility is usually better. Which would you prefer if you have to choose?

I happen to be someone who would rather drive in rain than in snow. Come on, the traction in snow is simply frightening. With rain your wheels still got a good hold of the road.

I would prefer to drive in the rain over the snow. I've never gotten stuck in the rain, but you never quite know with the snow.

I prefer rain too. I have no real experience of driving in snow but I imagine it is tricky because it gets packed down and is like an ice rink!

It takes a special skill to drive in snow. But I also realize that some of us may simply be presented with a situation when you have to drive in snow, God forbid.

I found a site that gives great advice on this situation:
http://www.weather.com/activities/dr...tips/snow.html

Read it and bookmark it.

I don't mind driving in drizzle, but I absolutely hate to drive in heavy rain. Visibility is bad and it doesn't seem like wipers keep up with it, even on high. I don't like driving in snow, either, but unless it's real heavy, I like it better than rain because at least you can still see where you're going. It seems like people are generally more cautious on snow, too.
