Any feedback on the new synthetic motor oils that have been on the market for awhile? How much are they being made use of? Pros and cons? Cost? Effectiveness? Environmental impact?
I like them. They say you can go many more miles until an oil change but I don't think I would chance it. I do agree though that the newer cars are made for that type of oil. I would use them if I had a new car.
Us truckers were really put into the hurt locker a few years back when the price of fuel went sky high. From that point on, I decided to put the synthetic stuff in my cars as one small way to make a statement.
