I can't tell you how sick I am of having to ask so many car repair shops what their price is before picking where to go. It takes up so much of my time. I want to go somewhere knowing they aren't trying to rip me off. I wish I knew more about cars, because I would do half this stuff myself. Ugh! I'm so irritated right now!
I know the feeling. It is pretty bad for everybody, but for women is even worse. Even on the easy stuff, they try to rip you off. I have a friend that knows a lot about cars and I try to run things by him before I go to the repair shop. However, my friend is so busy that is difficult to get a hold of him.
You guys are right, on both counts. The rip offs are crazy, but yeah women have a harder time of it. It's not really fair-there's enough guys out there that know nothing and yet get treated fine.
