Default Vehicle Pulling to the Right

I have a small car about 2005 model and it has been pulling to the right for ages, I've had a wheel alignment and it makes it better- but it doesn't completely fix it! I've heard it's probably a bent chassis and apparently it's a common thing on small cars and impossible to fix...

Does anyone have this problem...?

No, I have never heard of this happening with any car constantly for that matter. It could be something constantly throwing the wheels out of alignment. Do you normally drive on bump rough terrain or surfaces?

Never! I don't even hit kerbs (which is what the mechanic asked me). I do suburb/city driving and thats it... It's starting to get really annoying.

I have heard about this problem and it really concerns small cars. This problem I heard about is from Beetle cars. It is about the wheel alignment that makes the wheels veer towards one side without turning the steering wheel.

Badly adjusted brakes can also cause the car to pull to one side. If the brake is constantly engaged slightly on the one side, it will pull to that side-it's worth having it looked at.

Someone from the tyre place told me it could be my the tread on my tyres, uneven wear can make them veer to one side... Anyone heard of that???

I don't think uneven tread could cause a severe pull to one side, but I could be wrong. I had a bent chassis and actually was able to get it fixed at a specialist. Mine was the result of an accident, though; I had no idea it could happen out of the blue!

I never considered the tread that would cause the car to veer off on one side. I have seen trucks that have tires with thin treads but those trucks have multiple wheels so I guess they support each other.

If this is the cause then you should change the tires then.

I think it's the tread scalloping more than being bald. I must not slow down enough when I turn corners or something. Anyways, the tyres wear unevenly and apparently that can contribute to the pulling... Add it to my list of things to buy!!
