Default Wiper blade question

One of the blades on the Missuses van isn't sitting properly, and leaves a section of the windshield "unwiped". I've tried to reshape the durn thing, as I do on my truck, but it defies me. It's also pretty much brand new.

Would having it in the garage where it's warmer help so it can be bent to shape? or should I just take it off and replace it?

I guess it would be good to trouble shoot it and see if you somehow got a defective blade. If you put a new one on and it does the same thing, it would indicate something out of alignment with the wiper arm assembly I'm thinking.

Third party blades are so cheap that I just don't see the point in messing so much. I'd just buy a new one and put it on-only takes a few seconds.

I tried to fix the problem myself before too and then I quickly gave up. I thought the price was great but comparing the time span good ones last compared to these, it just was not worth it. I would rather they work when I need them too, fully.

I've never had a problem with the cheaper ones wearing out faster than the good ones. The auto shop I use only uses brand name blades-they wore out as fast as the cheap ones I fit myself.
