I tell you I'm sick of the birds around me. I no sooner wash the car and a bird poops on it. He must have been eating berries too as the poop was red! Drives me crazy.

I left my car for two days under a tree, and it was completely covered in crap when I went to drive it. It was almost too disgusting to even drive around. I washed it immediately.
We really can't blame the birds because it's their nature. To avoid birds pooping on my car, I parked it far from huge trees. Have you tried using car covers? It also protects your car from bird poop.
My car isn't near any trees. We have this 1 bird that likes to sit on the doors of our vehicles next to the mirrors. I think he admires himself in the mirror. Then he poops!
Unfortunately the only place for me to park at my house is under the trees. Also, I drive my car almost every day so a car cover would be alot of hassle. I think I'll try to get a different spot, or just keep washing my car.
