Default Best Interior Cleaner

What do you think is the best thing to clean the dash, and other interior parts, yourself? I was going to buy something the other day, and there were so many products, it made my head spin. There were even waxes, to put on after cleaning. Are those even neccesary?

I just use basic Spic N Span diluted in water and a damp rag. That is how they do it at our local car wash. Works good.

I just use whatever cleaner I happen to have on hand when I decide it needs cleaning. I think just plain hot water works great, but sometimes you need something stronger.

I clean the dash and all plastic surfaces with Armorall. Seems to work really well. My truck is 6 years old and still looks brand new.

Yeah, I use Armor-All too, but it's not a cleaner, it's a protectant. You should really clean those vinyl surfaces before you protect them.

As for me, I use the green stuff (forgot what it's called). It works well and smells good. Then I coat everything with Armor-All.

I need to find out what the people used last time when we got the car washed downtown, whatever they put on the dash is horrible. It works a little too well so on any bright sunny day the reflection is actually blinding.

I use whatever my husband brings home, often a Turtle Wax product, but I also keep one of those static free wipe cloths in the car. It's great for picking up the dust that always seems to accumulate on the dash and control panel.

Baby wipes or Windex and paper towels are what are generally used to clean the dashboard area in our vehicles. Even without a baby, we buy baby wipes for stuff like that, and to keep in the car for "just in case." The individually wrapped wipes are too expensive.

Armor All (sp) is the best one I've ever used. Really makes the interior look new. It's probably the best and most trusted product out there. I'm sure there are other products that are less expensive, but I think Armor All not only cleans, but protects from the sun.
