I've only had my new car about eight months and there are these blotchy, ring-shaped discolorations all over the exterior that I can't remove. I don't remember any situations that could have caused this. What could it be??
It could be a number of things: bird droppings, wet leaves drying on the car, bad air quality, snow, ice, etc. I'd take it to a professional and get an opinion. It could possibly be buffed out.
I took your advice, and had a detailer look it over. He said it looks like the effects of pollution! Gak! He suggested I check my manual on it. Turns out that if the vehicle is less than a year old, the manufacturer will remedy the situation!
So it kind of sounds like the paint job is, like, under warranty or something. That's interesting. I would never have even considered that a possibililty.
