Default Dried bird poop and dead bugs

What's the best best way to get rid of dried up bird poop and dead bugs without harming the paint job? I've always used warm water and soap but not sure if that's the best way.

That is how I have done it for years, never really thought about it. Maybe I am lucky, they always tend to get the window not so much the painted areas. )

From my experience warm soapy water is the best way... Just remember to clean your car regularly and make sure you remove any marks (bird poo etc) ASAP, as it actually fuses with the paint and can easily rip it right off.

Yes, warm water and soap would do the trick of removing the bird poop. We should regularly wash our car so that we will notice any bird poop on our car. It will be hard to remove the mark when the poop has stayed there for quite some time.

Thanks for validating my use of warm water and soap. I thought there might be something else that I could be using that might work better but I guess not.
