For waxing a vehicle, do you prefer paste wax or liquid wax? Are there pros and cons for each type of wax or is it just a matter of preference?

I wouldn't know since I have never done it myself. However, I still remember when my dad used to do it every Saturday. He used the Turtle Wax paste. Every time I smell it or see it being applied, it brings back great memories.

I have only used the liquid. I just love the smell of it-there's something so nice about it! I wouldn't swap now, after all this time using it.

I've had my car done professionally a couple of times, and they used the paste wax, so for that reason, I'm partial to using the paste form. I recently read there is a spray form, but the jury is still out on its effectiveness.

I have always used paste wax. I'm finally close to using up the last of it and I'm thinking about trying a liquid wax just to see which I prefer.

Paste is the one I have the most and the few times I have tried with liquid it never really looked the same after. Either I had a bad product or I did it wrong but I have heard others with the same issue so maybe it was the product, its kinda hard to mess up wax on/wax off.
