I'd like to know what your favorite brand of wax is for when you clean and wax your car. There are a lot of sensational claims made all too often-what can you believe?

I visit a lot of detailing forums and websites. I have no favorite brand. ClearKote is good along with PoorBoy's. There are a few others. It seems like the companies change their formula's ever so often, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. So I do think there is one true best over the years. Meguiars also has a good brand, but sadly most stores do not sell it. Their professional series I've used with good results.

How often should you wax your car? I have only done it once or twice to my car that I have owned for about 5 years. I know that probably isn't enough, so how often should I do it?

It protects the paint of the car, so you should keep a good coat of it on. I do it in the least every couple of months, though I've heard people recommend it at least a couple of times a year.

I've always stuck with Turtle Wax - it's been an excellent product for as long as I can remember. My dad used to use it, too. I don't do it often enough, I know.
