What can I use in my car besides an air freshener (both my allergies) to make the car smell better? My car has a funny smell to it, kind of musty but it’s not wet or damp. Any ideas on how I can get rid of the smell or what I can use to make it smell better?

I would try something like Febreze or Odor-Nix to get rid of the smell; and maybe leave the doors open for several hours to let it air out a bit. I can't handle perfumey stuff myself, so I know what you mean, there.

Since you have allergies I would suggest taking an open ziploc bag and tossing some fresh coffee grounds in it. It sucks up stinky stuff really well. (I use it when we burn microwave popcorn)

Can't you just take it to a car detailer. I'm sure they deal with those kinds of problems. Maybe do a search for getting the vomit smell out of a car since plenty of drunk people have had their moments. They might have good ideas in a search like that. I get what you mean about airfresheners. The first few days of a new tree opened up just kill me.
