Default Tiny Rust Spot

A stone chip on my partner's car has bubbled. We should have painted it, I know. How can we now treat the rust that is underneath there?

You'll need to grind it out, back to clean, undamaged metal. Rust is like a cancer, that will eat away at your bodywork. Grind it, treat it and seal against rust with a good rust preventing primer, then paint. You may need to fill the spot where the rust was.

Oh no! That stinks and DNA is right (or so the body shop told me when it happened to me). I have a rust spot near my gas cap! I have to pay to have it fixed. Good luck in getting the rust off.
