We can't win. We have a thousand foot long laneway. When it rains, the truck gets muddy. When it's dry, the truck gets dusty. But I still wash it and shammy it off to keep it clean.
You know unless its just our area, tons of car wash shops have closed down. We were talking about it the other day. I wonder if more people are taking care of their rides at home now to avoid spending when its not really needed due to the economy.
I don't go through car washes much, but my sister does occasionally. She says it isn't so much to clean the car, as to amuse the kids. Apparently they really like watching the water on the windows.
Some car washes will let you come back and get an exterior wash if it rains within the first couple of days after. Check your receipt to see if it says it, and then hang on to it.
