Default Would you detail it?

Would you detail your car if you were selling it? I mean, would the extra money you would potentially get be worth the money you spend on detailing it?

It depends on what method I was going to use to sell it. I might detail it if I was doing the selling myself. If I was using it as a trade in to a dealer, I would not, as they will detail it before they sell it.

You got, Guy.

Most of the time, the effort you put out yourself is more than adequate.

Guy got it. My brother did detail his before trading it in though. But if I am just trading it in, I would not worry about it. They don't give you much anyway.

No, I would not detail a car before selling it. Unless you own a shop and can do it yourself, I just don't think it is worth the cost. If someone is buying a used car, they know the paint job isn't going to look like new.

I wouldn't detail a car I'm selling. You are not going to get more money for detailing a car. If you do get anything for it, it won't cover the cost and time of getting the job done.

I wouldn't detail my car before selling it myself, let alone trading it in, but I would at least get it washed, just to make the potential buyer(s) happy.
