I know absolutely nothing about car stereos. I'd like a new one for my car, but I'm on a limited budget. Can I get a good am/fm stereo with CD for $200.00

If all you are looking for is radio, then you should be fine with $200.00, but I'm not sure how many places carry just radios these days. Most places sell stereo systems that include a CD player, and to get a good quality one, you might have to spend a little more. Unless you find a place with them on clearance; there's a good chance in this economy!

A radio is going to cost between $70 and $700 dollars. $200 can buy you a very nice radio with good quality. Even the cheapest radios include a CD player as well as other add ons. For $200 expect something nice.
