Default Best sound track for driving

I am going to be going on a long trip and I am trying to get some music together to listen to. What is your favorite long trip driving soundtrack?

My favorite album of all time is Metallica's Black Album, but I'll admit...I couldn't survive a long trip solely on that. When I need to chill out I go completely in the other direction with some Joss Stone and some French Caribbean Zouk music to relax on the drive.

I personally love listening to Lil Wayne or other kinds of rap while in the car. It pumps me up and gets me excited. Just driving alone pumps me up though, I love being in the car

I prefer Southern Gospel, personally. I also like some contemporary stuff (like Steve Green and Michael Card and such). I really like GLAD's a capella albums.

I like Queens Of the Stone Age or White Stripes. Anything that I can sing or dance to and has rockin' music. Nothing slow.... Oh, and when you do something stupid and miss a turn, Prince's Let's Pretend We're Married music goes along to making U-turns. Try it!

I do love the white stripes. I like all of the ideas though, maybe a nice wide selection will help keep me going while I am on the long drive. Thanks for the idea. I was also thinking of bringing OK computer.

I like to listen to the blues. Nothing in particular, no particular artist. I like the blues because the songs tell stories about real life things that everyone can relate to.

Any oldie station that you can pick up or any oldies that you might have work well because you know all of them, know the words, etc....
